Our son started working with Jamie twice a week when he was 20 months. At the time, he had no words and struggled to imitate sounds at our request. Jamie quickly gained our son's trust by engaging him in play-based strategies to get him to feel more confident. He looked forward to our biweekly sessions so much because he had such a bond with her! My husband and I would comment that most of his first words were said within his sessions with Jamie, and he has continued to improve exponentially since then! We are closing in on a full year with Jamie, and our son is talking up a storm. Jamie is also super dependable, flexible, and quick to respond to our questions. We are so grateful for our experience!!

Jamie has a way of connecting with my daughter, who is on the spectrum, in a way that I couldn’t reach on my own. My daughter’s communication and social skills have rapidly progressed working with Jamie. It doesn't stop there either... Jamie works with me too! She helps coach and train me to continue my daughter's speech and language development. She also helps me connect with my daughter in ways I've been struggling. Jamie has been a lifesaver to us and we’re so thrilled our paths have crossed!

When Jamie started working with my son, he was stringing two words at most. By the end of the summer, just a few short months - and my son was speaking in full sentences, not just describing what is happening but sharing his emotions with us verbally. Jamie is always catering her lessons to my son's needs. He had a hard time learning the pronoun differences, and she made books and games specifically to address this concept and worked with him on it weekly until he mastered it. She always brought fun toys and games that intrigued my son, and kept him learning through play.

We have been seeing Jamie for speech therapy since our son was in Early Intervention. He was immediately drawn to her sweet disposition and caring nature! She is truly passionate about developing speech and language in kids, and it shows in our son’s development. When our son first started speech, he had about 5 words and didn’t communicate at all. Now, one year later, he can form sentences and communicate effectively! Jamie is amazing, and we will be coming to her for years to come!

My son was what one might call a “late bloomer” when it came to his speech and language development. We put him into speech therapy when he was 2 years old and we were fortunate enough to have worked with Jamie. She was so incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and very patient with our highly energetic son. In the course of a year working with Jamie our son went from only saying 1 maybe 2 word phrases that were relatively hard to understand, to stringing 5 plus word phrases together.
